Offers support and information to people with polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) and giant cell arteritis (GCA).

The main aims of the group are:

• To respond to email and telephone enquiries to offer help, a sympathetic ear, reassurance and factually correct, positive information (under the guidance of Professor B Dasgupta, Leading Medical Adviser to PMR-GCA UK).
• To hold regular local meetings to discuss problems and share experiences. Invite relevant guest speakers.
• To produce a minimum of 2 newsletters per annum.
• To facilitate and contribute to research into PMR and GCA.
