A Different Journey aims to support those widowed at a young age, and their children. Coming from a Christian perspective, A Different Journey seeks to offer hope and support to those of all faiths and none.
Activities include:
- Newsletter published three times a year. It gives useful information and helpful advice, and provides people with opportunities to share their thoughts and experiences.
- Various events to enable those attending to meet with other young widowed people; take time out from the normal daily activities; learn from shared experiences; relax and enjoy the surroundings; talk, cry, reflect, laugh - and to do whatever is helpful.
- Telephone network - if you would like to talk to someone who understands your situation.
- Friends’ Network - an informal way for people who have lost a partner early in life to contact each other through correspondence or email.
