Teef

by Chris Dawson

Honestly I cleaned my teeth
I brushed them every day
I'm as mystified as you are
How they came to be this way
Ok I had some fizzy drinks
Oh and sweets, but just a few
But when I really think of it
I had no more than you
So is it because my tooth is small
That made it so so bad
And it couldn't really cope at all
With the sweeties that I've had?
Is that why im in hospital
To have it taken out?
I wish id never eaten them
Of that there is no doubt
It's fruit and veg for me you see
And no more fizzy pop
Once they've taken this away
The bad things have to stop
And I'll be good and brush them clean
Each and every day
When I get home from hospital
I'll throw those sweets away!

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
