ICU steps

Web: www.icusteps.com

ICU steps is a on-line patient led support group for other patients, ex-patients who have been though intensive care and their immediate family

ICU steps was formed as an extension to the intensive care follow-up service offered by the Department of Critical Care at Milton Keynes General Hospital. Whilst being recognised at governmental level as a necessary resource for intensive care patients after their discharge, this is a service that is still only offered by a minority of intensive care units in the United Kingdom.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
