TEDS has the following aims:

  • To provide support and the sharing of information to sufferers and carers/families of eosinophilic diseases. This is primarily for the eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases - eosinophilic oesophagitis, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, and eosinophilic colitis.
  • To promote the disease leading to better diagnosis times for sufferers.
  • To begin preparation to become a registered charity raising funds to improve reserach into the illness and provide financial assistance to those families who need help.

TEDS is an organisation in its infancy (April 2006) and at the present time there are no membership forms or fees to be paid and whilst being available to offer support to those affected by this illness they are also happy to welcome anyone who wishes to take a proactive role with this illness.
