www.directenquiries.com is The Nationwide Access Register and was developed to provide information for people with specific access needs, including disabled people and parents with pushchairs.

The service currently receives over 1.3 million hits per month and includes information about many health related premises including doctors, dentists, chiropractors and pharmacists as well as leading high street chains, private companies and public sector bodies.

The access information includes everything from parking, entrances, lifts, toilets, counter heights, wheelchair and pushchair access to staff assistance and auxiliary aids such as Braille, large print and induction loops.
