A-Z Care Homes Guide is a guide to the care homes sector in the United Kingdom.

The publication (over 750 pages) is divided into three main sections - Care Homes, Independent Hospitals & Clinics and A-Z Buyers Guide for Care Homes.

The classifications index at the back of the Care Homes section provides a quick reference to the Care Homes by specialist care / registered category, and there is also a combined alphabetical index. At the front there are additional sections for regulatory authorities, care home groups and operators, care in the community home operators, charities and voluntary organisations.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
