The National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists (NSPH) is a non-profit making organisation of hypnotherapy practitioners funded by the membership to co-ordinate training, promote continuing personal development and disseminate topical information.

The NSPH is monitored by an advisory council and endeavours to enhance and uphold the profession of hypnotherapy to the highest standards possible for the benefit of its members and the general public and, whilst offering no curative claims, vigorously promotes hypnotherapy as an exceptional treatment modality for a multiplicity of problems and illnesses.

Membership is restricted by examination, formal training and supervised practice. All members must abide by a strict code of conduct.

The NSPH is a patron of the General Hypnotherapy Register, a member of the National Council of Psychotherapy, and is accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.

For further information or details of a hypnotherapist in your area please contact the NSPH secretary at the above address.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
