The AMD Alliance International strives to bring knowledge, help and hope to individuals and families around the world affected by age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Their mission is accomplished through:

  • Generating awareness and understanding of age-related macular degeneration.
  • Promoting the importance of education, early detection, knowledge of treatment and rehabilitation options.
  • Preserving vision and improving the quality of life of individuals affected by age-related macular degeneration.

In support of its mission, the AMD Alliance International has developed an international awareness campaign, focused on seniors and their caregivers, encouraging seniors to have their eyes examined.
