The St Elizabeth's Centre is a national epilepsy centre offering services to all age groups. Founded and maintained by an order of Catholic Sisters, the Daughters of the Cross of Liege, the St Elizabeth's Centre is open to all on the basis of need, regardless of religious, cultural or ethnic backgrounds.
The Much Hadham site hosts a "village" of modern bungalows for adult residents, a residential special school and a college offering independence training programmes to 18-25 year olds.
Whilst the Adult Home specialises in the care of epilepsy, the school and college are able to offer provision for individuals who may not have epilepsy but have other complex health needs.
