Depression Alliance Scotland is a national charity for people with depression in Scotland. They work to relieve and prevent this treatable condition by providing information, support and understanding to those affected by, and working with, depression. They also campaign at local and national levels to improve care for people affected by depression and work to reduce the stigma that still surrounds this common condition.
They offer:
- A network of self-help groups where people with depression can share their experiences and coping strategies with others.
- An information service by phone, post and email.
- A wide range of leaflets and fact sheets.
- A comprehensive web site.
- A regular newsletter and e-bulletin.
