Fathers Direct is the UK's national information centre for fatherhood. It is a charity founded in 1999 by professionals with expertise in in social work, family policy, consultancy and training, practice development and communications. It exists to support the welfare of children by the positive and active involvement of fathers and male carers in their lives.

If you are a parent or grandparent asking for personal advice have a look at the website. Unfortunately they do not run an advice line. But you can call ParentLine Plus on 0808 800 2222.
