AMEND (Association for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Disorders) tries to offer a listening ear and a better understanding to those whose lives are affected by Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) Types 1 and 2 and their sporadic growths..
AMEND is happy to share information which has been collected about the disease, or just be a listening ear. The aims of the Association are to improve the well-being of all those persons suffering from these conditions by:
- Providing information in the form of leaflets and medical journal extracts.
- Providing both emotional and practical support.
- Promoting the earlier diagnosis of MEN 1 & 2 by raising awareness of the condition among relevant health professionals.
- Increasing awareness and understanding of all aspects of the condition and keeping abreast of advances in knowledge brought about by research programmes.
- Providing funding for future research programmes.
