Orpheus provides unique opportunities for young disabled adults (18-25) with a passion for performing arts. They promote transition and personal development through performing arts so students gain the skills to live independently in the community and to make informed choices about their futures. They have got teaching staff, professional artists, a work experience programme and resources to support students in their journey. They create tailored programmes to suit each individual. Students can go to them full time or part time and they can also offer domiciliary care services and supported housing. They have a diverse curriculum that covers the arts, independence, employment and functional skills. They also offer Arts Awards and City and Guilds Personal Development and Employability Qualifications as well as a range of short courses and outreach programmes.
