Patients' Voice is a voluntary patients' group that promotes research into serious illnesses and medical conditions. Patients' Voice supports humane animal research and ethical genetic technology, essential in understanding disease and developing medical treatments.

The objectives of Patients' Voice are:

  • To promote a greater public understanding of the methods, aims and benefits of medical research and the role of animal research.
  • To promote the interests of persons who are suffering or have suffered from serious or long-term diseases or disorders.
  • To encourage the provision of the resources necessary for medical research to be conducted.
  • To promote appropriate legislation relating to medicine and medical research.
