Mental Health Matters works with people with mental health needs. With their staff team they work with partner organisations to deliver a range of services centred on individual service user needs.
Mental Health Matters' ultimate aim is to strengthen the voice, rights and independence of service users, carers and family and friends.
Mental Health Matters offer a wide range of services nationally including:
- Housing - they have a substantial array of community based accomodation able to cater for every level of mental health need.
- Community Support - which provides a diverse range of social and educational activities.
- Employment - influences on their employment services include national planning, modernisation of traditional statutory services and service user demand for access to real employment.
- Psychological Services - they provide a national helpline which covers various parts of the country as well as counselling services which are offered to all people suffering from mental health problems and their carers.
