The Heather Preen Trust has been established to raise awareness about E.coli and help find a cure for haemolytic uraemic syndrome.
Their aims are:
- To raise awareness of E.coli.
- To provide educative information to children, parents and professionals relating to E.coli.
- To raise funds for medical research into improving identification, treatment and potential cures for E.coli poisoning.
In order to raise awareness about E.coli 0157 the Trust has produced literature in the form of leaflets, flyers, and posters to distribute wherever possible.
The authors and editors of this article are employed to create accurate and up to date content reflecting reliable research evidence, guidance and best clinical practice. They are free from any commercial conflicts of interest. Find out more about updating.
