The Buteyko Breathing Association is a non-profit making organisation committed to improving the health of asthmatics and those with other breathing related problems. The objectives of the Association include:

  • Promoting public awareness, understanding and use of the Buteyko method.
  • Regulating the practice of practitioners through compulsory adherence to a Code of Conduct so as to ensure public confidence in the Association and its registered members.
  • In the UK, to promote and encourage the use of the Buteyko method within the National Health Service, with a view to ultimate acceptance as a part of the service.
