The Air Transport User Council (AUC) is the consumer watchdog for the air travel industry. They:

  • Advise air travellers on their rights by responding to individual enquiries.
  • Take up individual cases and help passengers obtain redress where they have been badly treated.
  • Promote the wider interests of airline passengers with the regulatory authorities and service providers.

They also produce advice sheets on passenger travel which can be found on their website.
