Prostate UK is a national charity dealing with all prostate diseases, both benign and malignant (cancer). It funds relevant research, provides grants for the training of medical professionals, and campaigns to increase public awareness of prostate diseases. Its website is instructive and covers prostate diseases as well as ongoing research.

The charity provides free information leaflets, videos, DVDs, and a quarterly newsletter "UPDATE" as well as a 120-page book The Prostate: Small gland, big problem for a small charge. A publication's order form is available from the office.
