The Royal College of General Practitioner's (RCGP) website contains information primarily for GPs. However, the College recognises the importance of forming partnerships with patients and has established a Patient Participation Group (PPG). The group maintains links with patients and ensures that their concerns are taken into account in the development of general practice and RCGP policy.
The Group comprises of GPs and lay members, and advises the College on a range of medical issues. It has produced several guidance documents including Removal of Patients from GPs' Lists (2004):
