Whilst there are many talking newspaper and magazine groups in the UK reading local and national newspapers on to audio tape, Cue and Review is the only service providing a range of audio tapes specifically for young people throughout the UK. Anyone not able to read N12 type is eligible to receive these cassettes under the Articles for the Blind Freepost System. Titles available include: Earth Matters, Inside Soap, Kerrang, Four Four Two, Star Trek Magazine, The Big Issue (Scotland), The Herald, Evening Times, Scottish Sun, Radio Times Scotland, SFX, More, Empire.

Cue and Review has four distinct areas of work.

  • Distribution of cassette magazines throughout the UK to blind and partially sighted people.
  • Provision of work experience through the Employment Service to long-term unemployed, able-bodied and disabled people.
  • Support and development of the organisations's volunteers.
  • Preparation and transcription of commercial and government literature in audio formats.
