Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK (PHA-UK) was set up in response to an increasing demand for some sort of support network in the UK for patients, relatives, friends and medical professionals in relation to pulmonary hypertension. Many people feel isolated and alone when dealing with or coming to terms with this condition. PHA-UK is for anyone affected by pulmonary hypertension. The Association hopes to answer many questions, connect you with a network of people who know what you are going through, and keep you abreast of the latest news about pulmonary hypertension.

Their website includes many ways of connecting with others to learn more about pulmonary hypertension and to find support from other people with pulmonary hypertension or with experience of treatment of pulmonary hypertension.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
