The national office of the NHS Cancer Screening Programmes provides central services to ensure the screening programmes are delivered effectively and operate efficiently. The following programmes are covered.

  • NHS Breast Screening Programme
  • NHS Cervical Screening Programme
  • NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme
  • NHS Prostate Cancer Risk Management

General information for patients on the programme, screening methods, and eligibility is included on the website. Patient information leaflets are also available. Please note that your GP should be contacted with any enquiries on individual cases, or specific problems.
