The National Association of Local Societies for Visually Impaired People promotes and supports the work of the UK network of independent local societies for blind and partially sighted people.

Local societies can offer practical support and advice to individuals coping with the effects of sight loss.

NALSVI can put members of the public and professionals in touch with their nearest local society for visually impaired people.

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.
