Sense is the UK's leading organisation working for people with deafblindness and associated disabilities. There are regional centres throughout the UK, of which the Northern Ireland Centre is one. Services offered include the following.

  • Specialist services to help sensory impaired people of all ages to reach their full potential despite the many challenges they face.
  • Family support, which is central to Sense's work.
  • Campaigning and lobbying to promote the interests of sensory impaired people and their families.
  • Membership scheme to encourage wider participation in Sense.
  • Information provision, advice and guidance on a wide range of issues including provision of specialist publications and factsheets.
