The Chinese National Healthy Living Centre was founded in 1987 to promote healthy living and provide access to health services for the Chinese community in the UK, many of whom live in London. The London-based centre offers a range of local services but the following are available nationwide.
- The Chinese Healthline (number and times as above) provides confidential health information in Cantonese and Mandarin.
- The Centre holds over 200 Chinese health leaflets and a wide range of audio-visual tapes. Contact the centre for further details but subject headings include the following.
- Children.
- Women.
- The Elderly.
- Heart Disease.
- Cancer.
- Family Planning.
- Gastrointestinal Diseases.
