Assisi Community Care runs Francis House, a large manor house, and Clare House, a modern two storey building in seven acres of countryside about six miles from Barnstaple. Francis House is fully accredited and registered as a residential care home for men aged 25 and over with alcohol related problems. Assisi Community Care is a Christian-based community with members participating in the daily routine. The organisation aims to aid members' recovery by holistic therapy, community living and individual counselling therefore learning to enjoy life and become self-motivated.
