The fpa Scotland is completely focused on improving Scotland’s sexual health and wellbeing, and the increased activity, particularly around service improvement, is welcomed.

These activities are mainly focused on four areas:

  • Increasing the capacity of the public and voluntary sector workforce to deliver lifelong sexual health and relationship education to the public and professionals through our training courses.
  • Influencing policy and decision makers to ensure that sexual health and wellbeing is given the priority required for real improvement to happen.
  • Providing information by publishing resources on all aspects of sexual health for professionals and the public.
  • Running projects in the community to help people take real responsibility for their sexual health and wellbeing by improving their levels of confidence and knowledge about these issues.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
