Country Cousins introduce carers throughout the UK to clients requiring support to remain living in their own home. Care is provided by a live-in 'cousin' carer for periods of convalescence or respite, holidays or longer term care.

Clients needs differ greatly but generally fit into one of the following levels of care. Country Cousin's aim is to ensure that the 'cousin' assigned will have the appropriate skills and experience to manage competently throughout each assignment:

• Home Support - there are certain tasks which you need help with. These can include:
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housework
  • Shopping
  • Home administration
  • Personal laundry
  • Companionship
• Home Support & Care - as well as the tasks outlined above, our 'cousins' will help with personal care:
  • Help with washing and dressing
  • Help into the bath or shower
  • Continence care
  • Help to prepare for bed
  • Assistance with medication
• Home Support & Advanced Care - for those Clients who require a greater degree of personal care in order to remain in their own homes. This can be due to terminal illness, stroke and more advanced Parkinson's or Alzheimer's Disease.
