The Centre for Policy on Ageing was established in 1947 by the Nuffield Foundation. It is an independent organisation which seeks to promote the interests of older people through research, information and the spread of good practice in health and social welfare services.

The CPA publications are wide-ranging and mainly directed to those who work with older people or conduct research in this area. Contact the CPA for further details.

The Centre produces a number of databases of information for practitioners and researchers including a resource on the Single Assessment Process.

The CPA Library and Information Service is an internationally renowned resource for all people working or researching in the field of old age. Contact the CPA for full details.
