CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA is one of the UK’s leading charities dedicated to fighting Britain’s biggest childhood cancer. For more than 20 years they have been helping children affected by leukaemia.
Although leukaemia can now be successfully treated in the majority of children, it still has devastating effects, treatment is gruelling and the future very uncertain for those it strikes. CHILDREN with LEUKAEMIA is trying to beat this disease by:
- Funding research into causes and treatments.
- Supporting families through welfare projects.
- Raising awareness and campaigning on the behalf of families.
Their work is supported by many famous friends, their loyal band of volunteers and the generosity of individuals and businesses who help them to raise the funds they need.
