The Down Syndrome Educational Trust is a charitable company, registered in England and Wales. It provides expert advice and training in the specific needs of children with Down syndrome, to a wide range of individuals, including parents, teachers, psychologists, speech and language therapists and doctors. It has a range of services (some of which may be available in the local area only) including advice, research, training and publishing. However, as well as information on the Trust and its activities, the above website includes useful advice and practical information on the care and education of children with Down syndrome. It also has details of relevant books, videos and periodicals.
