The Latex Allergy Support Group is a charity with the following aims:

• To raise awareness of latex allergy amongst the general public and in particular, healthcare workers.
• To provide a national support network for those affected by latex allergy.
• To push for investigation into the increased incidence of latex allergy, the identification of 'at risk' groups and the unnecessary contact with known sensitising agents.

The group is involved in the following activities:

• Information sheets for allergy sufferers which cover various subjects from the legal employment rights of sensitised employees to going to school.
• Newsletter, Bouncing Back, for members to share and exchange information.
• Regularly updated 'Latex List' which includes everyday items which may contain latex and, where possible, suggests alternatives.
