The Skin Camouflage Network is an association of professionally qualified practitioners in skin camouflage drawn from medical, beauty therapy, Red Cross and academic backgrounds.

Skin camouflage is becoming more familiar and increasingly available for referral, both privately and through the NHS - to a growing number of GPs, dermatologists and plastic surgery specialist.

Skin Camouflage Network was established in 1994 with the following objectives:

  • To establish a body to which all skin camouflage practitioners could belong, and through which knowledge and expertise could be networked and shared.
  • To develop a directory of professional, qualified camouflage therapists.
  • To raise awareness amongst the medical profession, pharmacists and patients as to the availability of remedial skin camouflage.
  • To raise and maintain professional standards through improved educational facilities, study days and seminars.
  • To provide a bi-annual professional news journal, enabling members to keep abreast of current issues.
  • To form links with all support groups thereby assisting patients who require additional help.

Thereby improving the facilities available to patients.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.
