Independent Living Alternatives (ILA) promotes the right of disabled people to live independently. Information is provided on the options available to disabled people in relation to personal assistance. Its activities include the following:

  • An independent living scheme providing full-time personal assistants to people who want to live in their own homes.
  • A support and information service to people who wish to recruit and employ their own personal assistants.
  • Advocacy, counselling and information on any issue relating to independent living for people with disabilities and to anyone wanting to know more about the options available.

Services are offered UK wide but particularly in the London area. For further information and fee scales please contact the above address to discuss individual requirements.
