Verity is a UK self-help group set up in 1997 to help women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The charity is self funded and is the only national charity for women with PCOS.
Verity organises twice yearly conferences where delegates get the chance to hear from some of the UK's foremost PCOS experts. They also publish a range of information booklets and 'In Touch', a twice yearly newsletter full of the latest information and research on the condtition.
Additionally, Verity provides a very active discussion board for both members and non-members, where women with PCOS can give and receive peer support, and they run a number of local based groups across the UK.
