Citizens Advice Scotland is the umbrella body for all Citizens Advice Bureaux in Scotland. Bureaux provide free, impartial and confidential advice to the public on a wide range of issues, including welfare benefits, money problems and legal issues. Some Scottish Bureaux now offer advice on an outreach basis in healthcare settings. For contact details of your nearest CAB look in the phone book under 'Citizens Advice Bureau' or visit the Citizens Advice Scotland website.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
