ADAPT provides residential rehabilitation and detoxification services in Somerset and Norfolk to clients from throughout the UK. The Centres are open to all who require its services and there is no requirement for a period of abstinence prior to admission. Referrals are taken from all sources: ADAPT particularly welcomes the admission of those who do not normally access services or who have deeply entrenched or multiple problems. Features of the service are as follows.

  • A structured programme, evolved out of the best practices from the USA and UK.
  • A range of therapeutic options and extensive educational input.
  • Highly qualified and skilled staff including: consultant psychiatrist, consultant physician, qualified nurses, professionally qualified counsellors and administrative staff.
  • A caring and supportive environment in which to confront and overcome addiction.
  • Locations removed from the pressures of urban life.
  • Recreational facilities through which clients can learn to relax without using alcohol or drugs.
