RISEsw is a registered charity which promotes independent living skills and learning opportunities to disabled people in Devon. RISEsw currently has a wide range of activities which include Information Technology; Visual Arts and Crafts/Potter; Music and Drama; Conservation; Gardening; Discussion Groups. They are also looking to extend these activities to include films and film-making, sport and many other new opportunities.

During school holidays kidz@RISE present opportunities for disabled children from Exeter and mid Devon to socialise and play.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.
