Epiderm Ltd distributes the Covermark range of camouflage cosmetics. Covermark classic foundation, available in 10 shades, and Covermark finishing powder are reimbursable on NHS prescription for the concealment of scars and disorders of pigmentation such as vitiligo. New patients and prescribers frequently experience problems in obtaining advice on application and matching for the correct shade. The British Red Cross offers this facility within the health service but there tends to be long waiting lists and sometimes no service within easy reach.

Epiderm can supply a Covermark colour chart and an information sheet to patients, their GPs or retail pharmacies. A Covermark tester palette can also be supplied to practices or retail pharmacies and is free of charge provided that it remains in practice/store for the possible benefit of other users. Small samples are provided free of charge on request.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
