Relate Northern Ireland (Relate NI) is a not-for-profit, registered charity which has been in existence for over sixty years. Relate provides a range of confidential services aimed at helping those experiencing relationship difficulties. A full range of services is provided to all sections of the community, irrespective of social class, religion, gender, disability, colour, creed or ethnicity.

Relate NI counsellors are all specially trained in couple and relationship issues, are accredited to BACP standards or working towards accreditation and work to BACP code of ethics.

Counsellors are trained to work psycho-dynamically and systematically and all receive regular individual and group supervision for clinical practice.

Services are private, discrete and confidential and include the following:

  • Relationship counselling services.
  • Family counselling.
  • Psychosexual therapy.
  • RelateTeen.
  • Education and training.
  • Listening ear service.

Through these services, they can provide professional help and support including:

  • Counselling for adult couples and individuals.
  • Family counselling.
  • Sex therapy.
  • Counselling young people between the ages of 11 years and 19 years.
  • Counselling supervision.
  • Consultancy services and contract counselling.
  • Education and training in all aspects of relationships.
  • Bookshop.

Services are available throughout Northern Ireland and Relate NI will respond quickly to your need at a time that suits you, whether daytime, or evenings.
