Gingerbread NI is the lead agency working with and for one-parent families in Northern Ireland.
They work with various organisations and agencies in creating services and developing networks in local communities to help tackle the issues facing one-parent families.
Gingerbread works in developing and delivering services, which benefit one-parent families, including:
- Advice and information
- Childcare
- Membership
- Personal development
- Vocational training initiatives
They campaign to promote positive policies for lone parents and their children and are involved in the development of community projects and social economy initiatives.
