ASH Scotland is a national voluntary organization working specifically to raise awareness about tobacco, its effects and the role it plays in our lives. ASH campaigns for the following.

  • To protect children from tobacco.
  • For a total ban on tobacco promotion and sponsorship.
  • For effective support services for smokers.
  • To reduce the number of young people smoking.

ASH Scotland provides expert information and advice on all aspects of tobacco. Their database holds information on the social, political, and economic aspects of tobacco use in Scotland, the UK and beyond. ASH Scotland helps and supports a wide range of people - the general public, health professionals and others - by providing information and answering enquiries. The following services are provided.
