The Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia Support Group was formed in 1991 to assist families affected by congenital adrenal hyperplasia, also known as adrenogenital syndrome. The Group has the following aims:
- To give support to families and sufferers.
- To increase awareness of the condition to the public and to the medical profession.
- To raise funds to support research.
Together with CLIMB (Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases), the group offers the following services:
- An information pack.
- Newsletters three times a year.
- Conferences at regular intervals.
- Members have access to support and advice via telephone, personal visits (where possible) or email.
- Questions can be answered by a board of specialist medical advisors.
