Careability Ltd is an independent registered charity which is run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities. The organisation has the following services:

  • Up-to-date library which incorporates information on local and national organisations.
  • Comprehensive library of manufacturers and suppliers of disability aids, equipment and vehicles, including power chairs, vehicle adaptations and bathroom equipment.

Advice is given on many topics including the following:

  • Claiming benefits.
  • Review guidance.
  • Appeals tribunals.
  • Articles for the blind (including audio cassettes - annual subscription applies).
