Veteran's Aid is the specialist charity in the Veteran community for homelessness. It is a major provider of accommodation taking Veterans from all over the country and indeed, worldwide. Their services include hostel accommodation, substance misuse work, and legal advocacy with the aim of helping Veterans move back into long-term secure accommodation.
The charity, formerly the Ex-Service Fellowship Centres (EFC)) aims to relieve distress among ex-servicemen and women of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army, Royal Air Force and Merchant Service and their widows or widowers who, at the time of application for assistance, are unemployed, homeless or for some reasonable cause in need. Facilities are located in London.
