Action for Sick Children (Scotland) is dedicated to informing, promoting and campaigning on behalf of the needs of all sick children and young people in the healthcare system. They try and ensure that sick children always receive the highest standard of healthcare possible and do so in partnership with their families/carers and other healthcare professionals, statutory and voluntary organisations. They focus on national and regional issues and their regionally based staff also work locally to improve health services to children and young people and their families.
Action for Sick Children (Scotland) also supply information and resources, support and advice through the national office and area staff with the aim of helping families access the best possible health care.
