The Northern Ireland ME Association is an independent Northern Ireland charity and exists to offer support and information to all those affected by ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis), sometimes also known as CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome). The range of services offered includes the following:

  • Administration office and 24 hour information service.
  • Medical advisor, consultant physician.
  • Paediatric director (a consultant paediatrician).
  • Quarterly newsletter for members.
  • 24 hour answering service.
  • Benefits advice packs and benefits appeals packs.
  • Specialist medical information packs for GPs.
  • Specialist education packs for schools and colleges including children/teens parents, young adults 18/30.
  • Benefits welfare advisor.
  • Education advisor, province-wide support network.

Various leaflets are available including: Children & Teenagers and ME; ME is...A Guide for Young People; What is ME?; What about ME? - Your questions answered. There is also an information directory.
