Age Concern Northern Ireland is a voluntary organization, committed through campaigning, community development, and service provision, to improving the quality of life of all older people and promoting their rights as active, involved and equal citizens.

Direct Care Services

  • Residential care in Omagh.
  • Day care at various locations throughout Northern Ireland.
  • Intensive domiciliary care service in Downpatrick, Newcastle, and North and West Belfast.
  • Training of care staff.

Age Concern local groups - there are 30 local groups throughout Northern Ireland. These groups are run by volunteers and offer activities such as luncheon clubs, social outings, and computer classes.

Ageing Well is a health promotion programme which involves people over 50 in health enhancing activities through community and older peoples groups.
